The rapid digital transformation of healthcaresystems has highlighted the importance of securescalable and interoperable solutions for managingpatient data Traditional paperbased medicalrecords continue to dominate in many developingregions leading to inefficiencies such as delayeddiagnosis fragmented patient history and increasedrisk of data loss Electronic Health Records EHRsoffer a promising alternative however theiradoption is hindered by challenges includinglimited infrastructure high implementation costsand critical concerns regarding data privacy andsecurity This project proposes a privacyfirstcloudbased framework designed to enable securesharing and management of EHR data acrosshealthcare institutions The system leverages cloudcomputing to provide centralized storage realtimeaccessibility and scalability while minimizingdependence on local infrastructure Advancedsecurity mechanisms such as encryption secureauthentication and rolebased access control areintegrated to ensure confidentiality integrity andavailability of patient data Additionally theframework supports interoperability enablingseamless data exchange between healthcareproviders The proposed solution also incorporatesaudit trails and controlled access policies toenhance transparency and accountability Byaddressing both technical and security challengesthe system aims to improve healthcare deliveryreduce redundancy and enhance decisionmakingprocesses Ultimately this project contributes tobuilding a reliable efficient and secure digitalhealthcare ecosystem suitable for resourceconstrainedenvironments
